Looking for a pro bassist (ages 21-35) that can rip people a new a$$ and is no stranger to performing high energy shows. Someone with the ability to play in the styles of Tool, Pantera, and Alice in Chains, but isn't too cool to play Maroon 5 and Jack Johnson. Expect to play covers and mostly originals and be put in front of thousands of people. If that makes you uneasy, I understand. But this isn't for you.
I have management, booking agents for prominent clubs in the U.S.,a practice space with a drum kit, full pa, and a guitar rig that will crush you. I know over 200 cover songs, yet we will be focusing on original material to find our chemistry. Playing covers will only be a vehicle to put us in front of large crowds to showcase our original music. Unfortunately that's how this game works.
Looking for pro level players only. No hard drug users please! Even if you only hit the crack pipe "every once in a while."
Please understand this is not a weekend kind of thing. There is a certain level of commitment required and extensive traveling involved. And yes, you will be compensated well.

I just started making dance music on my laptop a few months ago. (I used to make music the old school way with instruments and a 4-track back in the early 90s). I use Renoise as my main sequencer and a lot of software I get out of Computer Music Magazine and from the website freemusicsoftware.org . I have gotten off to a great start, but the learning curve for me is so steep and I am getting frustrated. I need to add a midi-controller to my set up as I'm currently still entering notes into my sequencer using the QWERTY keys and a mouse and it's killing me. I would love to make friends with other locals making music on their laptops and having people to bounce ideas off of, collaborate with, learn with, share with, ask questions to, etc. Maybe even a mentor of sorts.
